नमस्ते / जोहार । Johar Craft has been started with the vision to preserve and promote traditional handicraft techniques of India (भारतवर्ष), passed down from generations to generations. Our team consists of skilled artisans who are passionate about keeping the cultural heritage alive by creating unique, appealing and intricate handcrafted products.
We believe that each piece should not only be aesthetically pleasing but also tell a story of the time-honored techniques and the cultural significance behind them.
Our products range from Hand-Woven Textiles, Wooden Carvings, Jute & Grass products, Native Arts & Paintings to Traditional Jewellery. Each crafted with utmost care and attention to detail. We source our materials from artisan communities, supporting fair trade practices and ensuring sustainable production.
Our goal is to not only provide our customers with high-quality, one-of-a-kind products but also to give back to the communities we work with. At Johar Craft, we are committed to preserve traditional handicrafts and showcase their beauty to the world. We hope to spread awareness of the rich cultural heritage behind each piece and to keep these art forms alive for generations to come.
We at Johar Craft, encourages for a sustainable lifestyle. Living a sustainable life means making choices that prioritize the health and wellbeing of our planet and its inhabitants, both now and for future generations. It involves reducing our consumption of resources, minimizing waste and pollution, and supporting local communities and businesses.
One way to support sustainability and help local artisans is to purchase goods from them. By buying locally made products, we reduce the carbon footprint associated with transportation and support the local economy. Additionally, many artisans use sustainable and eco-friendly materials and production processes, further reducing the impact on the environment.
When we support local artisans, we are also helping to preserve traditional crafts and knowledge, which may be at risk of being lost as mass-produced goods become more common. By valuing and supporting the work of artisans, we are trying our best to ensure that these important cultural practices are passed down to future generations.
In addition to buying from local artisans, we are also supporting them by sharing their work with others and encouraging our friends and family to make sustainable choices. By working together, we can create a more sustainable future for ourselves and for our planet.
Jai Hind.
